No Drama! - Reading Trans representation on screen and other film making crimes, an illustrated panel event.
A shady look at the history of Trans representation on the big screen, from Hollywood to indie film makers, a fabulous panel of industry experts will discuss the good and (often) bad examples of what has been seen.
The talk will be preceded by a 45-minute montage of clips from films highlighting the groundbreakingly great, the jawdroppingly awful and the downright offensive. We will task our panel with creating a Manifesto of demands for future filmmakers.
Our panelists include Jaye Hudson (she/her) (TGrirls on Film), Rue Lumbroso (she/her) Transmissions, Tara Brown (they/them) Fringe! Queer Film & Arts Festival plus more TBC.
