Queer Quest Hackney (Camp Trans)

  • VARIOUS LOCATIONS (map)

Come explore Hackney through Queer Quest Hackney. You'll be able to visit venues and learn about their queer history, pick up a Queer Quest Hackney zine and collect an ink stamp designed by a LGBTQ+ illustrator at each location.

Queer Quest Hackney - FULL INFORMATION HERE - is a free activity created by Camp Trans available for anyone to take part in during LGBT+ History Month. You can explore Hackney through its queer historic venues, collecting ink stamps to mark your journey. Just pick up a Queer Quest Hackney posterzine from any of the participating locations, where you can collect your first ink stamp and read about the historic significance of the venue. In the zine you will find the route for the other ink stamps, this whole route will take roughly 60 minutes at standard walking pace. The ink stamps have been created by local queer trans+ illustrators, Sega, J Yamusangie, and Zach Ellams, and are bespoke to each story tied to the locations.
