Do you have time during the day? Enjoy meeting people and learning new things? Join u3a for just £12 per year (£6 concessions) and access an amazing range of classes, courses, outings and events. Many of the classes happen in our libraries and everyone is welcome!

Not sure if you want to join? Come along to Homerton Library on the third Tuesday of the month to the open meeting with a guest speaker, meet other members and find out more.

Or you can come to any class and try for free (it is recommended you email the class tutor to check there is space beforehand - contact forms for all tutors is on the website).

The following activities currently take place in our libraries:

Homerton Library

  • Weekly Pilates 1.30pm-2.30pm & Tai Chi 2.45pm-3.45pm

  • Monthly meeting with a guest speaker 11am - 1pm (third Tuesday of the month)

  • Monthly folk dancing 10.30am-12.30pm (first Thursday of the month)

  • Monthly Art History 10.30am-12.30pm (second Thursday of the month)

  • Monthly Line Dancing 10.30am-12.30pm (third Thursday of the month)

  • Monthly Art Club 11am-1pm (second Friday of the month)

Clapton Library

  • Monthly Book Club 1pm-3pm (fourth Thursday of the month)

  • Fortnightly Philosophy Club 2.30pm-4.30pm (first and third Friday)
