Drag Up!

Have the perspectives of more vulnerable communities been neglected in the historical discourse on drag culture? How can drag be performed differently and understood in a truly global and decolonised sense? By organizing screening of “Drag Up!” documentary and workshop, we invite you to join the conversation: rethink the Western centralised drag culture and explore the self-expression and activism potential of drag culture.

Location: The drag workshop will take place at chats Palace Arts Centre, 42-44 Brooksby's Walk, London E9 6DF.

The screening will take place at Hackney Chinese Community Services, 28-32 Ellingfort Road, London E8 3PA
