To mark LGBTQIA+ Month Arcola Queer Collective celebrates their last 10 years of community projects.
Arcola Queer Collective is a community theatre company that meets weekly for people aged 18+ who identify as being part of the LGBTQIA+ community, to come together and explore creativity and theatre making.
Our current and past community members will perform extracts from the plays and projects we have run over the last 10 years. 2025 is Arcola’s 25th year and we would like to celebrate the importance of working with, supporting and holding space for our LGBTQIA+ community members and theatre makers.
Featuring extracts from past plays such as The Little Prince, a queer version of A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Philip Ridley’s A Pitchfork Disney. Topping off the event with queer DJs in Arcola’s bar at a special Queer Collective party.
As per our workshops and performances, the facilitators and technical team will be staffed by professionals who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community.
