Athena Kugblenu, Nabil Abdulrashid, Sharon Wanjohi and other guests raise the roof in a hilarious Black History Month comedy special at the Rio Cinema.

Presented by If Mi Nuh Laugh Mi Cry! and hosted by the effervescent Selam Amare from Azmari Bet, London's favourite Ethiopian back-street 'pop up' comedy club. Visitors can also visit the free pop-up exhibition upstairs exploring Hackney’s Comedy Roots as it pays tribute to Oliver Samuels, Ping Wing, performers from Hackney Empire’s legendary 291 Club, and work by opinion cartoonist, Danny F.
