Launch of Hackney Black History 365

  • Hackney Museum 1 Reading Lane London, England, E8 1GQ United Kingdom (map)

Come and join us for the launch of Hackney's Black History Season as it officially adopts a year-round, 365-day approach. It is fitting that this takes place at Hackney Museum where we have delivered an all-year programme of African and Caribbean history and heritage for many years through our exhibitions, collections and learning programmes.

Take this opportunity to see the latest exhibition Making Carnival: 50 Years of Mas, Music and Movement in Hackney and hear how it is supporting our 2024 Black History schools programme through Tropical Isles delivering sessions to local schools at Hackney Museum.

Speeches from 6.30pm. Light refreshments will be provided.

Free.
