Hackney Town Hall is proud to be hosting a site-specific theatre performance of the iconic novel ‘1984’ written by English author George Orwell.
You are invited to be a part of this thrilling experience and be transported into the gripping dystopian world of Big Brother. Get ready to dive in and fight for individuality in this groundbreaking theatre production.
Directed by Jack Reardon, the Irish artistic director of Stagecraft, and with AV design from the video designer behind Sarah Snook’s Picture of Dorian Gray and lighting from the 2022 Offie Winner Ben Jacobs - it’s going to show Hackney Town Hall in a way that’s never been seen before.
